Interesting features include the reception area's ornately carved Dutch bed, over which stands a handsome gilt Ormolu clock. Equally noteworthy are a stained glass mosaic and some impressive paintings and Victorian chandeliers, the latter reflecting the opulence of the London of yesteryear. Nearby there's so much to see and do, eat and enjoy: major stores like Harrods and Harvey Nichols, Sloane Square's legendary Royal Court Theatre, the Kings Road for shopping, restaurants, pubs and markets and Pimlico Road for the finest antiques.
